Animal lovers are being urged to support a new fundraising initiative being launched at Pets at Home stores in Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole.
The national charity Support Adoption for Pets is selling raffle tickets at each store to raise funds for animal sanctuaries and re-homing centres across Dorset. Prizes include a brand new car.
Amy Wilson, spokesman for Support Adoption for Pets, said: “We’re very grateful to customers of Pets at Home in and around Bournemouth, who are always very generous and help make our campaigns successful. This year is proving to be spectacular.
“Not only has the charity celebrated reaching the £10million milestone but we’re also on track to help even more local animal sanctuaries, charities and welfare organisations through our fundraising and grant giving activity.”
Money raised will be donated to Waggy Tails, Margaret Green Animal Centre, Dorset Animal Workers Group and Comfy Care Rescue.
