TWO men were arrested following a 30 minute police chase in Bournemouth in the early hours this morning.
The drama unfolded after a car failed to stop for police at around 2.45am. Police cars pursued the car for 30 minutes around the East Bournemouth area.
Witnesses reported six or seven police cars were involved in the chase.
A spokesman from Dorset Police said the force is unable to release information regarding how many police vehicles are involved in police chases.
The chase finally came to end in Gresham Road in Winton where the two occupants of the car were arrested.
A spokesman for Dorset Police said: “Two occupants of the vehicle, a 23-year-old man and a 21-year-old man both local to the area, were arrested on suspicion of theft of motor vehicle.
“The driver was also arrested on suspicion of driving offences.”
