A GARDEN belonging to disabled adults has been given a transformation, thanks to a kind-hearted team from Lloyds Bank.

Seven employees from the Bournemouth branch, pictured right, donated their time to Diverse Abilities Plus, which supports children and adults with physical and learning disabilities across the county, spending a day revamping the outdoor area at one of the charity’s supported living properties in Poole.

The team cleaned and repainted large blockwork walls, garden fences and the garage door, and also sanded, repaired and painted two garden benches, before pruning and weeding at the front of the house and giving the house number a lick of paint.

Carole and Lindsay, the two residents supported by the charity who live at the property, are now looking forward to enjoying the summer in their new-look garden.

Sarah Harrison, Diverse Abilities volunteer and recruitment manager, said: “It is fantastic to see big local companies taking the time to give back to local charities. It just goes to show what a big difference it really makes.

“We are always looking for volunteers so if you think you would like to donate your time please do get in touch.”
