MORE than £3,300 has been raised for Operation Elliot thanks to a sponsored bounce by youngsters at a Southbourne school.
Pupils at St Katherine’s School were sponsored for the number of bounces they could do, either up to a set limit or within a minute, and funds raised have gone to aid fellow pupil Elliot Gower, six.
Elliot has cerebral palsy and severe haemophilia, and his parents Morwenna and James are appealing for £66,000 to fund a life changing operation at Great Ormond Street Hospital in London, which will give him freedom of movement.
The total raised for the appeal now stands at nearly £61,000. To donate visit justgivi ng.com/operationelliot.
