Calling all Christmas shoppers. A host of markets and fairs will be taking place over the next few weeks.

Here is just a selection of what's on in Dorset and the New Forest.

WESTBOURNE: Zetland Court hosts its annual Christmas fair on November 26. There will be stalls, competitions, games and a raffle as well as a visit from Father Christmas himself. Entry is £2.50 and includes a hot drink and a mince pie. Children under 10 go free when visiting with a paying adult. Gates open at 1pm with the fair starting at 1.30pm.

POOLE: The Cats Protection charity shop in Culliford Crescent, Canford Heath is holding a winter wonderland Christmas fair on Sunday November 26. Stalls will include festive gifts, decorations, Christmas jumpers and a teddy tombola and there will be a chance to win £1,000. Father Christmas will also be there and entry costs 50p.

BOURNEMOUTH: A Christmas shopping evening comes to the Vitality Stadium on November 21. Shoppers will be able to browse stalls selling cards, decorations, gin, cheese, cakes, jewellery, books, pictures, shoes and more. Thorntons will be giving away chocolate treats while Beales Department Store will be handing out goody bags while stocks last. Takes place between 7pm and 10pm and entry includes a glass of prosecco or pint of beer and a mince pie. Tickets £5 in advance or £6 on the door.

PURBECK: A Christmas art and craft fair comes to the Springfield Country Hotel in Wareham on November 25 and 26. There will be handmade gifts on sale including original art works, cards, prints, photography, jewellery, ceramics, candles, glassware and more. Entry, parking and mince pies are all free. There will be tea, coffee and lunch available to purchase.

FERNDOWN: Come along to the Little White Heart Christmas Craft Fair on November 25 at the Barrington Theatre from 10am until 2pm. There will be homeware and decorative accessories, jewellery, cakes and treats, art and gifts and much more. Admission is free.

NEW FOREST: The Friends of the Stray Dogs of Greece will be holding a Christmas fair at Ringwood Meeting House on November 25. Between 10am and 4pm, there will be toys, decorations, crafts, plants, books and dog accessories on sale, plus a cake stall and tombola. Admission is free and well behaved dogs on leads are welcome.

ENSBURY PARK: St Thomas Church in Western Avenue hosts its annual Christmas fair on November 25. Between 10.30am and 2.30pm, there will be bric a brac, games and books on sale as well as hot and cold food. Father Christmas will also be attending. Entrance is 50p for adults and free for children.

NEW MILTON: The CADArts Christmas Craft Fair comes to Hoburne Naish Holiday Park on November 19. Between 10.30am and 4pm, there will be original gifts on sale from a wide range of local craftspeople as well as entertainment and a grand prize draw including a cash prize. Ample parking and refreshments available.

BOURNEMOUTH: Come and join the Christmas craft fair at St Ambrose Church, Westbourne, on December 2 from 11am until 3pm. There will be hand crafted gifts, face painting, books and toys, a raffle and prizes plus drinks and refreshments.

BOURNEMOUTH: A Christmas fair comes to the Russell-Cotes Museum on December 9 and 10. There will be a range of stalls selling festive wares and gifts from local suppliers, a raffle and festive crafts for little ones. Entry is free with a suggested donation of £1. Father Christmas will also be making an appearance on both days with gifts for children. To book, call 01202 451820. Refreshments will be available in the café. The fair takes place between 10am and 5pm.

SOUTHBOURNE: A Christmas fair will be held at St Christopher's Church in Burleigh Road on Saturday November 25 from 11.30am until 3pm. There will be stalls, a raffle, lunches, children's activities and Father Christmas.

KINSON: A Christmas Craft Fair takes place at the Community Centre in Millhams Road on November 25. There will be homemade craft items on sale and complimentary goody bags for the first forty customers. Tasty treats and refreshments will be available in the seated area. Entry is £1 and is free for under 15s. Takes place between 2.30pm and 4.30pm.

BOURNEMOUTH: Christmas comes to Lou Lou’s Vintage Fair at the Pavilion Theatre on December 3. There will be vintage gifts, clothing and accessories on sale, plus tea and cake. Dolly’s Beauty Parlour will also be on hand to transform shoppers’ hair into victory rolls, pin curls and beehives. Appointments can be made in advance by emailing dollys_beauty@mail.com. Entry is £2.50 on the door and is free for under 12s.

POOLE: St Edward’s School holds its indoor Christmas market on November 23. There will be up to 60 stalls selling crafts, gifts, books, cosmetics, nail care and Christmas decorations. There will also be a raffle, refreshments, mince pies, outdoor wood fired pizza, Christmas music and carols. Entry is £2.50 for adults and £1 for students aged 18 and under. There’s a free glass of wine, mulled wine or soft drink upon entry with every ticket purchased. Takes place in the school hall between 7.30pm and 10.30pm.

POOLE: The RNLI College Christmas Market takes place on December 3 from 11am to 4pm. There will be more than 40 exhibitors selling a range of Christmas gifts including handmade arts and crafts, jewellery, local preserves, chutneys, fudge and chocolates. Father Christmas will be arriving by lifeboat plus there will be face painting and arts and crafts workshops at The Creation Station. A preview of the stalls takes place between 10.30am and 11am for visitors with limited mobility. Admission and parking is free.
