BOSCOMBE eatery Chicken & Blues has reached the final of the British Takeaway Awards 2017.
The self-titled ‘posh chicken shop’ first opened it’s doors on Boscombe High Street in 2013, run by friends Joshua Simons and Steve Crawford, and has already been recognised in the top five chicken shops in the UK by The Metro, as well as winning Dragons Den star Theo Paphits’ business award.
Mr Simons said: "We’ve put our heart and soul into this project for over four years now, so to make the British final is hugely exciting news for everyone involved."
The awards ceremony will take place at London’s Savoy Hotel on Monday, November 27, as a way to reward and showcase the hard work local takeaway owners put into Britain’s favourite eateries.
