A MAN has been charged in connection with an alleged assault in a Boscombe alleyway.
Officers were called following reports of an assault in an walkway next to Corpus Christi Church in Christchurch Road at 10.27pm on Monday, September 4.
A woman, aged in her 20s, was found with serious head injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.
A 19-year-old Bournemouth man was arrested and has been charged with inflicting grievous bodily harm.
He is due to appear at Poole Magistrates’ Court today, Wednesday 6 September 2017.
