This postcard with the caption of 'Coronation Day in Boscombe in 1911' belongs to Jim Clark and judging by the amount of umbrellas out at the celebration, it was a rather wet event.
George V was crowned king at Westminster Abbey on June 22 1911, a year after the death of his father Edward VII.
