CCTV images of two men suspected to be behind a robbery in Boscombe have been released by detectives.

The victim, a 32-year-old man, was targeted after leaving the Sir Percy Florence Shelley pub in Christchurch Road on Tuesday, February 21.

He was followed from the pub by two men. When he reached Woodland Walk at around 12.45am, he was attacked.

His wallet and mobile phone were stolen.

The victim suffered bruising and grazes to his head and a swollen left ear.

Detective Constable Neil Jones, of Bournemouth CID, said: “This was a very distressing incident for the victim, who was attacked as he was walking alone at night."
