A MAN and a woman have been taken to hospital with stab wounds after an attack in Boscombe.
Police were called to Palmerston Road at 6.20am to reports of an assault.
Officers attended and discovered a 25-year-old man had sustained stab wounds to his arm and leg.
A 22-year-old woman had also sustained stab wounds to her leg.
The man and woman, both from Bournemouth, have been taken to hospital for treatment and their conditions are not thought to be life-threatening.
A man and woman, who are known to each other, have been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm and are currently assisting officers with their enquiries.
Part of Palmerston Road has been cordoned off while crime scene investigators carry out their examinations.
