  • Dominic Isom, of Halves Cottages in Corfe Castle, denies murdering Ms Henderson - with whom he had been in a relationship - on Wednesday, January 21 this year.
  • He does admit inflicting the injuries which killed her and then throwing her body in the lake.
  • He claimed in court today the fight which led to her death happened after he saw Ms Henderson with her hands around one of their children's throat.
  • Ms Henderson was last seen alive collecting her children from their village primary school.
  • She then went missing, sparking a huge police search.
  • Her body was discovered in the lake near Ham Common, Hamworthy, nine days later.
  • On Friday, the prosecution told the court Dominic Isom had told a police operator he was worried about Samantha Henderson after he allegedly killed her and dumped her body.
