DETECTIVES investigating the death of mother-of-four Samantha Henderson have renewed their appeal for help.

The disappearance of the 25-year-old Corfe Castle woman prompted a huge search involving scores of officers.

Samantha’s body was finally discovered in the lake near Ham Common, Hamworthy, on Friday, nine days after the last confirmed sighting of her outside Corfe Castle Primary School.

Yesterday, investigating officers renewed their appeal for sightings of Samantha’s blue Peugeot 307 estate car, with the HV04 ZFM registration plate.

Neil Devoto, of Dorset Police’s Major Crime Investigation Team, explained: “Although we have found Samantha’s body and a man is charged with murder, it is still vital that people come forward with any information that could help us build a picture of exactly what happened.”

Mr Devoto wants information on sightings of Samantha’s car in the Corfe Castle and Ham Common areas between 3pm on Wednesday, January 21 and 5pm on Friday, January 23.

He said: “I am particularly keen to hear from anyone who travelled between the A351 Wareham flyover, Blandford Road, Lake Road and Lake Drive in Hamworthy between 7.50pm and 9.10pm on Wednesday, 21 January and 6.30am and 8am on Thursday, 22 January 2015 and captured their journey on CCTV in their lorry cabs, dashboard cams in their cars or vans or head cams on their motorbike or bicycle helmets.”
