A MAN arrested after a woman said she was raped in broad daylight in Kings Park has been released without charge.

As reported in the Daily Echo, a woman in her 30s said she was attacked at around 9.30am on Saturday, September 9 last year. Police called for anyone with information about the alleged incident to come forward.

A 41-year-old Bournemouth man was arrested on suspicion of rape and was released under investigation as detectives carried out enquiries. He has now been released without charge.

Police are not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident.
