A MAN has appeared in court after a stabbing in Boscombe.
Billy Haynes, of Bradley Street in Cardiff, was charged with committing grievous bodily harm with intent after an incident on May 2.
Police were called to Windsor Road by paramedics shortly before 8pm. Casualty Abdul Tarakheil had suffered stab injuries to his upper body. He is believed to have sustained the wounds in nearby Cecil Road.
Initially, it was thought Mr Tarakheil had sustained potentially life-threatening injuries and he was flown to Southampton General Hospital by air ambulance. However, he has since been released from hospital.
Haynes, 23, appeared at Poole Magistrates' Court on May 14. He did not enter a plea and was remanded into custody ahead of his next appearance at Bournemouth Crown Court. The plea and trial preparation hearing will take place in June.
Two Bournemouth men aged 25 and 21 were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and released under investigation.
