A MAN has denied involvement with the production of a 'cannabis farm' allegedly discovered in Bournemouth.
Vietnamese national Liu Ngyuen, who is of no fixed abode, has pleaded not guilty to producing a class B drug at a property in Green Road on April 4.
Ngyuen, 35, appeared for a plea and trial preparation hearing via prison video link at Bournemouth Crown Court on Thursday morning.
He was not represented by counsel because of an ongoing barristers' strike over reductions to legal aid.
However, when the charge was put to him, Ngyuen, who spoke through a translator, replied: "I was only at the house.
"I'm not guilty."
Prosecutors allege the defendant is involved in the production of 160 cannabis plants.
A two-day trial will take place at the court on July 30.
