POLICE will host one-to-one surgeries in Bourne Valley today after reports of anti-social behaviour and violence in the area.
As reported in the Daily Echo, a public meeting for residents took place in late January. Members of the public spoke of their concerns about crime during the event.
However, just two days later a 16-year-old boy was allegedly chased through Arne Avenue at knifepoint. Two 13-year-old boys have been charged in connection with the alleged offence.
Officers launched extra high-visibility patrols in response to the reports of issues. Representatives from the area's neighbourhood policing team will meet with residents between noon and 5pm today at the Bourne Valley Youth Centre.
Councillor Louise Russell and representatives from the Poole Housing Partnership and the Borough of Poole's anti-social behaviour team will also attend.
A review of CCTV in the area is also underway to ensure cameras are in the best locations.
