POLICE have released CCTV images of a man they want to speak to in connection with a theft at a supermarket in New Milton.

A man entered Morrisons in Station Road at around 5.10pm on Monday, January 15, carrying an orange bag for life.

He put five bottles of whisky, valued at £122, into a shopping basket.

The man then walked to the front of the store and put them into the bag, before leaving without paying.

A threat was then made to a male member of staff who challenged the man.

The man police wish to speak to is described as white and unshaven with short dark hair. He is approximately 5ft 11 and of slim build. He was wearing black trainers, black jeans, a grey shirt and a blue jumper.
