A MAN was dragged from his bicycle and pinned to the ground by two robbers in the early hours of this morning.
The victim, 40, withdrew money from a cashpoint outside Tesco Express in Charminster Road at around 1am. He then cycled towards Lowther Road.
As he turned into the road, he was pushed off his bike and held down by two men. One of the men went through his pockets and stole his mobile phone and wallet, which contained cash and cards. Both robbers then made off.
The victim suffered bruising to his ribs, but did not require hospital treatment.
Detective Sergeant Stewart Gates, of Bournemouth CID, said: "We are making a number of enquiries to see if any of the suspects were captured on CCTV and investigations are ongoing."
