A MAN has been arrested after £1,000 was stolen during an aggravated burglary last month.
Police were called to reports of an incident at a flat in Meyrick Park Crescent shortly before 4am on Monday, October 9.
The victim, a man in his 30s, was hit on the head with a 'wooden item' and cash stolen after two men broke in through an unlocked door.
Officers investigating the incident say a 33-year-old Bournemouth man has been arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary. He has since been released under investigation.
The victim suffered a head injury, which was not believed to be serious. He was taken to hospital as a precaution.
