POLICE are continuing to investigate after a motorist was threatened with a gun during a road-rage spat in Bournemouth.
Police were called to reports of an incident in St Paul's Road at 7.45pm on April 13.
It was said a firearm was pulled during a row.
A car was then abandoned in Southcote Road, Boscombe.
The victim was not injured in the incident. It is not believed the offenders and the victim were known to each other.
Armed police and the NPAS helicopter scoured the town following the incident.
Initially, two men were arrested on suspicion of possessing a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence.
A further two men were then arrested.
All have been released under investigation.
A spokesperson from Dorset Police said: "Four men were arrested. Three, aged 19, 22 and 23, are from the Thames Valley area and 31 is of an unknown address.
"They are all still released under investigation."
