TWO men have been arrested after a Mini smashed into cars early this morning.
Police were called to reports of a collision in Dale Valley Road in Poole shortly after 1.20am after a blue Mini Cooper left the road and ploughed into parked vehicles and a bollard.
A spokesperson from Dorset Police said: "We were called at 1.22am today, Wednesday, August 16, to reports of a fail-to-stop one-vehicle road traffic collision in Dale Valley Road in Poole.
"A blue Mini Cooper, registered to a man from Poole, left the road and collided with bollards and two parked cars.
"A 24-year-old man from Poole has been arrested on suspicion of road traffic offences and is currently assisting officers with their enquiries.
"A 29-year-old man from Poole has been arrested on suspicion of obstructing a constable and is currently assisting officers with their enquiries.
"We left the scene at 3.45am."
An eye-witness, who asked not to be named, said: "I drove past after it happened.
"It looks like the Mini side-swiped one car, hit another one and then went up the kerb.
"It's written off one of the parked cars - it had an 04 plate and the owner was almost in tears.
"I know a bit about banger racing and you'd struggle to see cars as badly damaged as that Mini on the track."
