Hayley Wall
THE trial of a man accused of murdering a Bournemouth woman is due to begin at Winchester Crown Court this morning.
Christopher Wall, 59, pleaded not guilty to the murder of 25-year-old Hayley Wall in January this year.
Ms Wall suffered serious head injuries in an alleged assault on Tuesday, December 13 last year.
She was rushed to hospital after being found outside Charminster Supermarket in Charminster Road. However, she died in the early hours of December 23.
The defendant, of Shelbourne Road in Bournemouth, was initially charged with grievous bodily harm. After Ms Wall's death, police launched a murder investigation.
