A DISQUALIFIED driver who had no insurance was caught speeding by members of the No Excuse team.

The woman, who was driving a red Seat, was stopped for speeding in Canford Heath on Sunday.

Police checks showed that she had been disqualified from driving until she took an extended driving test as a result of serving a prison sentence for dangerous driving.

Police say she was served with an Operation Dragoon letter.

Another driver was stopped after she appeared to be looking down at something along Wallisdown Road.

A driving licence check showed the driver had a revoked licence and she also failed a drug wipe test.

Along with that she was also arrested for possession of cannabis, possession of heroin and money laundering.

She has been released under investigation whilst enquires continue.
