A PENSIONER was found in possession of almost 2,000 indecent images of children, a court heard.
Bryan Young, 79, of Kentisworth Road, Marnhull, Sturminster Newton, pleaded guilty to making indecent images at his home address between February 2013 and April 2016.
At Bournemouth Crown Court on Friday (July7) Young pleaded guilty to making 29 category A images, 166 category B images and 1,712 category C images.
He also admitted to being in possession of a prohibited image of a child on April 26 last year.
Young pleaded not guilty to possession of an extreme pornographic image involving an animal.
Recorder James Watson QC adjourned the case until Friday, August 4 for probation to prepare a pre-sentence report.
