INVESTIGATIONS continue into an attack on a bus driver that took place over the weekend.
A Yellow Bus driver was assaulted by a passenger who had tried to steal cash from him on board the bus at Bournemouth train station.
Police were called to the scene at around 5.45pm on Sunday and surrounded the double decker.
The driver was not badly injured in the attack but suffered a fractured thumb which later required hospital treatment.
No arrests have yet been made.
Passengers on board other buses were held up for around 10 minutes at the Travel Interchange while officers investigated the matter.
