POLICE have appealed for help to track down a Bournemouth man wanted for breaching conditions of his licence.

Damon Aaron Phillips, 28, was released from prison on August 9 last year after serving part of an indeterminate sentence for malicious wounding.

Since his release Phillips has breached the terms of his licence and a recall notice has been issued.

Phillips is described as white, around six feet two inches tall, of medium build and with short brown hair.

He went missing from Bournemouth and is also known to have links to Hampshire.

Detective Sergeant Paul Auger, of Dorset Police, said: "I am now able to release a photo of Damon Phillips in the hope that someone will know of his whereabouts.

"While we have no information to suggest that Damon presents a direct risk to the public, I would ask that anyone who sees him does not approach him but contacts Dorset Police immediately on 999.

"I would also like to assure members of the public that officers are making every effort to locate Damon Phillips as soon as possible."

If you see Damon Phillips you should dial 999 immediately. Anyone else with other information should call 101, quoting occurrence number 55170063966 or contact Crimestoppers in confidence on 0800 555 111.
