The incident occurred between 6.15pm on Tuesday and 7.50am on Wednesday, April 26, and the owner found the passenger door and boot open. Nothing was taken. Moordown: Thieves broke into a shed at Vicarage Road stealing two valuable bikes. An orange and black Scott Genius 740 mountain bike and a specialised silver cross trail bike were taken during the break-in sometime on Wednesday. Purbeck: The occupants of a White Ford Transit van have been spotted in the Wareham and Dorchester areas asking to buy scrap metal and batteries on farms and rural businesses. Dorset Police Rural Crime Team have now issued an alert in relation to the vehicle, which has the partial registration F*55*TX. Anyone with information should contact police on 101.

Ensbury Park: A purse and a satnav were stolen during a vehicle break-in at Eldon Road sometime overnight on Tuesday. The same night, at around 12.36am, a man was seen trying to steal a vehicle at Morden Road. He is described as being six feet tall and of large build, wearing a dark jacket and trousers. He was disturbed and ran off towards Vicarage Road. Anyone with information on either incident should call 101 quoting reference 55170059882.

Ferndown: Thieves stole garden tools from a well-secured shed sometime overnight on April 20. A Stihl chainsaw, leaf blower and hedge trimmer were taken during the break-in.  Offenders have been caught on security cameras in the garden. Anyone with information is asked to call the police on 101.

Wareham: A kayak was stolen from the Church Green area some time between Saturday, April 22 and Monday, April 24. The single-seater Frenzy kayak is described as blue bottled-coloured. Anyone with information is asked to call 101.

Northbourne: Thieves stole a designer bag and cash from an unlocked parked car at Western Close sometime between 4.30-6.30pm on Tuesday. Bovington: Police have received a report of criminal damage of a vehicle at Victoria Close. Anyone with information is asked to call them on 101.
