THREE Nigerian Dwarf goats, a nanny and two kids stolen from a barn last year have been reunited with their owners.

The animals were stolen from a secure barn in South Perrott, near Beaminster, sometime between 5.30pm on Sunday, November 27 and 9am on Monday, November 28.

Thieves forced a padlock from the door to break in.

Police appealed for their safe return, and it was said that the owners had been left "devastated" by the theft of their pets.

The goats were found in Tarrant Keyneston, near Blandford, yesterday. The village is almost 40 miles away from South Perrott.

No one has been arrested.

PC Tim Sturgess, of Bridport police, called for anyone with information about how the goats ended up in the Blandford area to contact police via dorset.police.uk or by calling 101, quoting occurrence number 55160178277.
