A MAN has pleaded not guilty to inflicting grievous bodily harm on a stranger outside a bar in Ashley Cross.
Scott Cochrane, of Yarrow Close in Poole, appeared at Poole Magistrates' Court on Friday to deny the charge against him.
Prosecutors allege Cochrane, 27, injured Landon Arthur outside Patrick's wine bar in Bournemouth Road on November 27 last year.
Mr Arthur, 20, sustained serious facial injuries at around 2.15am.
Police had called for witnesses to the alleged assault to come forward.
Cochrane will next appear at Bournemouth Crown Court for a pre-trial review on May 4.
