Gillingham: Police are investigating after scaffolding was stolen from a churchyard. The scaffold tower had been taken apart and laid by the hedge in the grounds of St Mary’s Church awaiting collection by the hire company. But it was stolen from the church sometime between midnight on Wednesday, March 22 and 8am on March 29. According to police a vehicle, either a van or car, may have been used to transport the scaffold which may have taken a few journeys. The scaffold was marked with stickers and tape from the hire company. Call police on 101 quoting 55170042462.
East Dorset: Police are investigating after jewellery and cash were stolen from a house in West Parley. Thieves entered the property in Glenmoor Road sometime between 2pm and 4.30pm on March 23. Entry was gained via an insecure rear door and once inside the offenders made a tidy search and stole jewellery and money. Call 101 quoting 55170042765.
East Howe: Thieves broke into an unattended car and stole a wallet at Kingswell Road overnight on Wednesday. Anyone with information on the matter should call 101 quoting reference 55170041759.
East Dorset: Police are investigating after a golf trolley was stolen from an address in Ferndown. The theft took place on Friday, March 24, at an address in Ringwood Road. It was one of two thefts to take place on that road in the same day - with copper piping being stolen from a separate address. Police are warning members of the public to not leave items unattended or on display in the front of their properties.
Ensbury Park: A laptop was stolen when offenders broke into a parked vehicle at Redhill Drive sometime overnight on Wednesday, March 22. A second vehicle break-in occurred somewhere nearby the same evening. The car’s contents were rifled through and scattered nearby. Anyone with information on either incident is asked to call the police on 101 quoting 55170041757.
