THREE motorists have been arrested for drug driving after testing positive for cannabis and cocaine.
Officers from the No Excuse Policing Team were in Poole on Friday night when they stopped a silver Ford and carried out a drug wipe test.
According to police the driver tested positive for cocaine and was arrested.
Officers also stopped a white Nissan which failed to stop at a red light in Poole.
According to police, the driver allegedly didn't have any insurance which had been cancelled back in January.
The driver was reported to court for the offences and the vehicle was seized.
On Tuesday night, officers from the special team also arrested two more drivers for drug driving.
Both drivers, who were initially stopped for using a mobile phone while driving, showed positive for cannabis on a drug wipe test.
The team also caught a motorist doing 90mph in a 50mph zone. They said he was already on six points and had done a driver awareness course.
He has been reported to court.
