Mudeford: Police are warning residents to be vigilant after a suspicious incident in Bure Lane. Two men were seen on a private driveway with a third man standing near a parked white Transit van. A member of the public saw the men appearing to check the area. The van then left and the two men ran in the direction of the Runway. It is believed the men may have been trying to see if tools could be stolen from a vehicle belonging to a tree surgeon.

East Dorset: Police are investigating after tools were stolen from an address in West Parley. The theft took place in Mags Barrow sometime between 9pm on Wednesday and 10.30am the following morning. According to police entry was gained by forcing open French doors to an annexe of the property and a quantity of tools were stolen.

Bournemouth: Police are hunting burglars who stole a “large amount” of cash and jewellery from a home in Headswell Avenue between 10.15am and 12.15pm on March 10.

Bournemouth: Burglars stole cash and jewellery from a home in Saxonhurst Road sometime between 7.30pm on March 9 and 12.10am on March 10. 

Corfe Mullen: Three men broke into a van parked in Coventry Close at around 7pm on Wednesday. The men smashed the passenger side window of the cab and stole a power drill and a Makita stereo. However, they were then disturbed by neighbours who had spotted the break-in taking place. The offenders got into a maroon-coloured Ford KA and drove at speed out of the road and into Waterloo Road. One of the thieves was left behind.  He ran through an alleyway at the end of Coventry Close and into Wareham Road. Two of the men are described as being of stocky build and wearing light-coloured tracksuits. The third man is described as skinny. He was wearing a dark jacket and a flat cap. A spokesperson from Dorset Police called for anyone who saw either the offenders or the KA to call 101 quoting 55170034617.

Ferndown: Thieves have stolen around 1,000 litres of fuel from cars parked at a Dorset builder’s merchant yard. Travis Perkins reported the theft to police after the missing fuel was discovered at their compound at the Ferndown Industrial Estate on Sunday, March 5. CCTV footage shows the offenders wandering around the site before the theft. Two males were caught snooping around at 9.20pm. Business owners at Telford Road have come forward with footage to help officers with their enquiries.
Anyone who saw any suspicious activity between 9-10pm is urged to call Dorset Police on 101.
