AN EMPTY home in Ferndown was targeted by thieves twice in two days this month.
The property, in Golf Links Road, was first burgled on Monday, February 6.
During the raid, £1,500-worth of power tools were stolen.
On Wednesday, February 8, the home was targeted again.
However, nothing was stolen during the second offence.
The property was empty at the time of both incidents as it has recently been refurbished.
Sergeant Tim Travers of Dorset Police said: "This is a good example of how vulnerable we are to repeat crimes.
"If you are unfortunate enough to become a victim of this type of acquisitive crime, you must do something about it to prevent yourself being targeted twice."
