Police are appealing for help to locate a man wanted for breaching his licence conditions who may be in the Bournemouth area.

Christopher Lee Smith, 27, from Weymouth was released from prison on Monday, November 28 after serving part of a six-year-and-three-month prison term for robbery.

Since his release Christopher has failed to comply with the notification requirements of his licence. He is now wanted by police.

Christopher is described as white, of medium build and with short dark-brown hair.

Police Sergeant Paul Auger, of Dorset Police, said: “We know that Christopher often frequents the Bournemouth and Boscombe areas.

“While we have no information to suggest that Christopher presents a direct risk to the public, anyone who sees him should not approach him but immediately contact Dorset Police on 999.

“I’d like to assure members of the public that officers are making every effort to find Christopher Smith as soon as possible.”
