A TRIAL date has been set for the man accused of murdering a toddler.
Joseph Eke appeared at Winchester Crown Court via video link yesterday morning (Monday) where he denied the murder of Harry House on May 26, 2016.
Eke is also charged with one count of GBH against Harry, of Broadmayne, Dorchester, alleged to have taken place on March 27, 2016.
Paramedics were called to Main Street in Broadmayne, where Harry lived, on May 27 where they discovered the toddler seriously ill.
He sadly died in hospital and an inquest later recorded that the cause of death was blunt force trauma.
Police have reminded members of the public that no comments should be made which could impact the court case.
The trial will begin on April 26, 2017.
