FRAUD investigators have warned of a new scam involving expensive chandeliers.
A number of victims have been sent "convincing-looking" emails, which appear to be from web shopping giant Amazon.
The emails, which are sent from service@amazon.co.uk, claim recipients have made an order online for a vintage chandelier.
The communications mimic an authentic automatic customer notification.
Victims have also been sent notifications about purchases of Bose stereos, iPhones and luxury watches.
Recipients are told to click on a 'help centre' link to receive a full refund if they haven't authorised the transaction.
The link leads to an authentic-looking website, which asks victims to confirm their name, address, and bank card information.
Experts from Action Fraud warn that suspicious emails often contain typos or grammatical errors and attachments or prompts to install software.
