A FURTHER 14 people have been charged with drink or drug driving offences as part of Dorset Police’s Christmas crackdown.

They are due to appear at courts in Bournemouth and Weymouth in January.

A total of 30 people have been charged since the campaign began on December 1.

The annual campaign, which comes to an end on New Year’s Day, has seen officers carry out a crackdown over the festive season with increased patrols and roadside checks.

Every driver involved in an accident on Dorset’s roads during this time will be tested for drink and drugs.
