A MAN was threatened with a knife and punched and kicked during an attempted robbery in Bournemouth.
The victim was walking along Holdenhurst Road close to Springbourne Library around 2.30pm on Saturday, November 26, when he was approached by a man.
The suspect demanded money from the victim and threatened him with a knife.
He then punched and kicked him before running towards the library.
The victim – a local man aged in his 40s – was not physically injured.
The suspect is described as white, aged in his late teens or early 20s, of slim build, with light-coloured eyes, straight fair hair and a fair complexion.
He was wearing a light grey hooded top and dark-coloured trousers.
Police have now released a CCTV image of the suspect.
