POLICE are appealing for witnesses following a robbery at a Poole supermarket where £700 was stolen.
The incident happened at 8.50pm on Thursday, June 16 at Tesco Extra in Ringwood Road.
A man walked up to the check-out with a basket of goods. He attempted to pay with the wrong amount of money before lunging over the till and grabbing £700 and running out of the store toward Old Wareham Road.
He is described as aged in his 20s, five feet eleven inches tall, with ginger curly hair and a pale complexion and freckles.
He was wearing a dark hooded top with a Superdry logo on the front, light blue jeans and black trainers.
Police have now released CCTV of the incident.
