POLICE are appealing for witnesses and have released CCTV images after a large number of Oral B toothbrush heads were stolen from a chemist.
The offence happened shortly after 2pm on Friday, April 15, at the Boots store in Market Cross, Sturminster Newton.
A force spokesman said the Oral B toothbrush heads were placed in a white Tesco Bag for Life.
“A man remained in the store for several minutes before paying for a low-value packet of tablets, and leaving the store without paying for the items concealed in the carrier bag,” the spokesman added.
Dorset Police’s PC Charli Goddard said: “As part of my investigation I am now in a position to release CCTV images of the suspect.
“I would urge anyone who recognises this man to please contact me on 101.
“I would also like to hear from anyone who has seen Oral B toothbrush heads for sale in suspicious circumstances.”
Witnesses and anyone with information should call Dorset Police in confidence on 101 quoting incident number 15:207. Alternatively, call the free and anonymous Crimestoppers line on 0800 555 111 where mobile phone tariffs may apply.
