A CHRISTCHURCH man suffered a broken jaw in an early hours street brawl in Bournemouth.

Around 14 people were involved in the incident, which took place in Commercial Road, Bournemouth at 2.30am on Sunday October 18.

Now police have appealed for witnesses to the fight, which also left the 29-year-old with serious injuries and also left two others hurt. The men, aged 20 and 22, suffered minor injuries.

Detective Constable Dave Lyons, of Bournemouth CID, said: "I am appealing to anyone who may have witnessed what happened to contact me on 101.

"I believe there were a large number of people in the area at the time who may be able to assist me with my investigation."

A 20-year-old Christchurch man and a 21-year-old Blandford Forum man were arrested on suspicion of assault and are currently on police bail until the middle of November 2015 pending further enquiries.
