DETECTIVES have released CCTV in connection with four robberies which took place across Poole last week.

The first saw a hooded man wearing sunglasses enter Jas News and Booze in Poole Road at around 10.35pm on Sunday, July 12, and pick up a carton of milk, before walking to the counter and threatening the assistant with a knife.

He demanded money and left the store with a quantity of cash.

The following evening saw three people threatened with a knife in three separate robberies, one at around 9pm at the Shell service station in Bournemouth Road, in which no money was handed over.

Some 40 minutes later a man entered the Tatnam off-licence in Tatnam Crescent and demanded the till be emptied, but he fled the scene when an alarm was activated.

Then, at 11.20pm, a taxi driver was threatened with a knife in the car park of the Adam Practice in Longfleet Road after he had just dropped off a client. The suspect made off with a quantity of cash.

Nobody was physically injured during any of the robberies.

Detective Constable Steph Ashworth, of Poole and Bournemouth CID, said: "I am now able to release CCTV footage of the suspect for all four incidents.

"I am appealing to any witnesses, or people who recognise the man, to contact me urgently on 101"

The offender was described as white, of slim build, around five feet seven inches tall and around 25 years of age. He was wearing a light grey hooded jacket and dark sunglasses.
