A PERVERT who secretly snapped photos of a teenage girl undressing in Primark’s changing rooms in Poole has been ordered to sign the sex offenders register for five years.

Peter Sieber, of Maple Road, Poole, slid his mobile phone under a cubicle where a 15-year-old was about to try on a new bra.

The shocked schoolgirl was shopping with a friend and had stripped off her jacket and shirt when she noticed the mobile phone flash at the bottom of the dressing room.

She quickly redressed and reported the encounter to staff, who located Sieber following a search of the store.

During Monday’s (March 16) Bournemouth Magistrates’ Court hearing Sieber was also sentenced to a three year supervision order with probation and ordered to pay £810.

The 28-year-old had already been found guilty of the offence – one count of voyeurism - after an earlier court trial.

During sentencing Sieber said: “I am very sorry about what has happened.” He also said he only went to Primark to buy trousers and thought he was in the male changing room.

Before sentencing the magistrates heard how the victim, from Germany, was “shocked” after learning she’d been photographed in just her bra.

Sieber was fined £200 and ordered to pay £550 costs and a £60 victim surcharge.

Sentencing him to the supervision order, chairman of the bench Mike Devall warned: “You must comply with all instructions and keep all appointments. If you break any of these requirements or commit another offence you could be resentenced, which could include prison.”

Sieber, of previous good character, will now be monitored on the sex offenders register. Police forces, using a national computerised database, are able to exchange information they have on registered offenders and their movements.

The original incident took place at Primark on October 10, 2013.
