Weymouth Magistrates Court
A VICAR has appeared in court to deny nine counts of sexually assaulting a woman in Dorset.
The Rev Roy Catchpole, 68, of Gainsborough, Milborne Port, Somerset, has been charged with nine counts of sexual assault on a female in Sherborne.
The offences are alleged to have occurred between August 1, 2013 and June 29, 2014.
A plea of not guilty was entered on his behalf at Weymouth Magistrates Court by his solicitor, Lee Christmas.
Catchpole was released on conditional bail until a preliminary appearance at Dorchester Crown Court on January 16
