PARLEY: Two people were taken to hospital after a crash at Parley Cross on Tuesday evening.

The emergency services were called to the junction of Christchurch Road and Chine Walk after two vehicles collided at about 6.25pm.

The road was closed while fire crews removed the roof of one car to free a woman.

Two people were taken to hospital by ambulance and police said it was thought that the driver of one car fell ill at the wheel.

POOLE: The emergency services were called to a two-car crash near the Shah of Persia, Longfleet Road, on Tuesday night. Fire crews, police and ambulance went to the scene at around 10.30pm.

The road was closed to clear the scene, but police said only minor injuries were reported.

WINTON: Fire crews from Springbourne and Redhill were sent to Stokewood Road at 5.28pm on Tuesday after unattended cooking had caught light in a flat there.

POOLE: A wheelie bin and guttering on an outbuilding behind Long John’s Fish and Chips in Herbert Avenue caught light early this morning.

Fire crews were sent to the scene at 4.23am and put out the flames.

COUNTY: A wide load was moved from Portland to Poole yesterday morning with a police escort. 
 The 6.70-metre-wide boat moulding left Sunseeker Osprey Quay at 10am and was escorted along major roads including the A35, to Sunseeker International at New Quay Road, Hamworthy, arriving by 1pm. 

BROADSTONE: Police attended a two-vehicle crash on Kirkway last night. The road was blocked while the vehicles were recovered. No-one was hurt.

WIMBORNE: A vehicle hit a bollard, which in turn hit another car in Priors Walk yesterday evening. The road was blocked while emergency services attended. A Dorset police spokesperson said paramedics treated a person at the scene.
