THE father of a Kuwaiti student found stabbed to death in Bournemouth has failed to appear in court this morning.

Faleh Ghazi Albasman, who is charged with murdering daughter Mashael on March 30 this year, was due to enter a plea at Winchester Crown Court today.

However, the hearing was adjourned for the second time after doctors at the secure hospital in which he is currently incarcerated decided he was not well enough to attend.

The body of 25-year-old Mashael was found in a flat in St Michael's Road.

An inquest found she had died of multiple stab wounds.

Judge Keith Cutler has set the next provisional date for the hearing on Friday, October 3 this year.

He said the defendant, 58, must be produced at the court on that date.

Albasman was first due to enter a plea to the charge on June 13, but again was not thought well enough by doctors to appear before a judge.
