It's Carnival weekend in Trinidad, peeps! This IS a big deal, and yes it IS the Best Party On Earth. I know people who are paying thousands of pounds to get on a plane, arrive on Monday morning, party till Wednesday morning, and then get back on a plane here.
For last year's pictures, see HERE and HERE and you'll begin to see what I'm talking about. But without the soundtrack.
But here we are, in Sunny Bournemouth, where the boys are on a week's Half-Term holiday. We have friends coming, and will embrace Pancakes and Crepes on Shrove Tuesday, and go for a hike. We'll play our Soca CD and think about everyone dancing on the streets of Port Of Spain, but there will be NO weeping and wailing. Y'hear?
