The weather has been lovely up to now with glorious sunshine on Friday and Saturday.

Thursday got off to a rainy start but it wasn't long before the sun came out.

However, things are set to turn a lot wetter on Sunday with heavy rain forecast for much of the afternoon.

According to the Met Office, Sunday will start off dry until 11am with a 50 to 60% chance of rain until 1pm.

From 1pm, there's an 80% chance of heavy rain which is set to last until 6pm before it turns lighter.

According to Met Check, there's more than an 80% of "intermittent rain" between 12pm and 6pm.
