WITH just one month to go until the Bournemouth Air Festival, organisers are urging anyone planning to attend to pre-order an official festival brochure.

Packed with images, information and all you need to know about this year's action - on land, sea and in the air - the programme will be available from a list of outlets from the end of July.

However, you can make sure you'll have a copy by pre-ordering online now.

With a stunning cover design by aviation artist David Bent, the official programme contains the all important air festival timetable, and a unique access code which enables reader's to access special flying updates.

With every purchase there will also be a donation to the 2016 Armed Forces nominated charities, which include the Royal Navy Royal Marines Charity, ABF The Soldiers Charity, and, of course, the Jon Egging Trust.

Hundreds of thousands of people are expected to pack out Bournemouth's beaches and clifftops for the four-day festival, which is scheduled to roar into life on August 18.

Among the highlights this year will be daily displays by the elite pilots of the RAF's Red Arrows, plus appearances by the Royal Navy's skilled Black Cats helicopter display team.

The Tigers parachute display team, the Swiss Air Force's Super Puma display and a host of other amazing aircraft and displays are set to wow the crowds.

Air Festival hospitality tickets are also now available – book at the new SandBar for the best spot on the beach, says a festival spokesman.

The spokesman added: "Don’t miss this year’s fantastic Wave 105 Night Air entertainment with stages at Bournemouth and Boscombe piers."
