THE Red Arrows will be performing all four days of the Bournemouth Air Festival this year.

The highly-anticipated annual event, which attracts around one million visitors a year, will run from Thursday, August 18 until Sunday 21.

The Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team wowed crowds last year with close formation flying and breathtaking loops and rolls.

Shooting across the seafront at hundreds of miles an hour, practically every spectator on the beach reached for their cameras.

Aside from the flagship Red Arrows, the Royal Air Force’s Eurofighter Typhoon is also due to return to the festival this year.

The Typhoon Display Team’s pilot, Flight Lieutenant Mark Long, said the hugely popular jet would be showing off its speed, power and aerobatic versatility on each of the latter three days of the event - from Friday to Sunday.

Other aircraft already announced at the four-day festival include the Swiss Air Force’s F/A-18 Hornet and Super Puma display teams.
